The engine manufacturers use flexible products as well and in very harsh environments, typically high temperatures. MPS manufactures fireproof, fire isolation products for these applications for GE Transportation, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls Royce.

Fireproof nacelle seals
Used to seal high temperature and potential fire-generating compartments such as engine nacelles, these seals are made of high temperature silicone with high temperature reinforcing fabrics and fiberglasses to provide a fire barrier.
Flexible bellows coupling
Coupling made of fire-proof materials with flange geometry attachable to firewall with cuff to install over AS5131 beaded ducting.
Flexible fireproof hose
Same as fireproof seal with convoluted configuration to allow significant part flexibility.
Flexible connectors
Convoluted connectors made of fire-proof materials with cuffs each end can be installed over AS5131 beaded ducting.
Inlet duct
Flexible fire-proof duct with one cuff made with CRES insert to outer shape of AS1895/11 and sealed for installation with an AS1595/12 ended hard duct with a V-band clamp, capable of withstanding 300 lbs of force. The other end of duct installs over AS5131 beaded ducting.
Flexible cover
Fire-proof valve cover with CRES locators for installation to mating cover wires inserted into locator holes to secure.
